We need your support for our local tour guides & porters in Africa & Asia

The current border closures and travel restrictions are dramatically affecting local communities in poorer countries, e.g. Indonesia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, just to mention those where our tours are normally taking place during this time:
In those countries, tourism represents a vital source of income for countless tour guides, porters, transfer providers, hotel owners, tourism employees, and others working in tourism-related businesses. Unlike in Europe, there is no support at all or close to none from the government.
Our partners and tour guides such as Samuel in Rwanda and Enku in Ethiopia, as well as Andi, Galih, Christoph and many others in Indonesia, are no exception. They urgently need some help!
We decided to set up a fund for them, and send them financial support immediately, and we are asking for your contribution.
You can also support them by joining one of Andi's virtual volcano tours.
At the end of each month, we will split any money collected by sending one quarter to Rwanda, one quarter to Ethiopia and half to Indonesia (provided the share is at least 200 EUR as otherwise, the bank fees are too big in relationship to the money transferred). We will be updating this page regularly with the total amount collected and sent out.
If you like to contribute, please make a bank transfer or an online donation by credit card. Your support is highly appreciated in our drive to empower local communities and ensure their sustainability!:
